My electric aerial stopped working yesterday, stereo is still fine obviously no reception. Also noticed that the clock isn't staying on when the ignition is turned off and the trip readings are all resetting to zero, as is the clock if the car is left for more than an hour or so. It's driving fine and all the lights, indicators etc are ok. Any suggestions. Going out to have a look at the loom underneath now.

The only thing I've done recently is replaced the front headlight. The other thing is when you lock it and unlock, sometimes the lights flash, sometimes they don't.

The bonnet has been damned stiff and needs a good slam to make it shut and stay shut.

Get some WD40 or some form of oil penetrating/cleaning fluid on it and wash as much grime off as you can. This can be a dirty job so don't have your Sunday best on. Then try to get some thicker oil/grease, not too much, onto the moving parts. If you don't, one day you'll pull your bonnet release and the cable will snap...then the fun starts...

Here's a good one. The 10 amp fuse in the engine bay in the yellow surround had blown. The car ended up with all sorts of weird and wonderful problems, which on replacement of the fuse, which looked like it hadn't blown until I held it up to the light, fixed everything. Even the electric aerial worked as normal. Very bizarre. All fixed now. Thanks for all the suggestions guys.
