Woke up this morning to no cars on the drive! Looks like they broke in and nicked the keys, nothing else gone (except my PS3!) but obviously had to change all the locks ect! If there is a lesson to be learned, keep you car keys in your bedroom! If anyone is offered S206SNB - Silver V70 2.0 10V, please call the police as it's my car! I've also had my Civic Type-R (RJ05TMV) stolen. Both from Basingstoke, Hants some time last night. Cheers Will

Sorry to hear that, a few been going from that area recently, one of my colleagues had his Subaru done a month or so ago. Only problem with taking the keys to bed is if they are determined that they really want your car, they will not be deterred and will come to your bedroom, which runs the risk of assault on yourself/family.
Apparently (according to Police and CSI people) there were 5 houses done in Basingstoke last night, all with cars gone and not much else... Could have been much worse, especially as my wife is 41 weeks pregnant!!! Got to try to find here another Volvo now, and try to decide what to replace the Civic with! Insurance have said it'll be 28 days until they process the claim in case the cars are recovered! Looks like I won't be going anywhere for Christmas this year!!!
I am sorry to read about your bad news. My brother had a similar experience a few years ago and had their Volvo V70, Jaguar and TVR stolen bt taking the keys from downstairs in the house and stole anything that was worth stealing from the house while my brother was a sleep up stairs. The Police thought there was approx 6 thieves and had cased the house before hand. It was an organised theft. The Volvo and Jag were found by the police within a week and the TVR was found almost a year later in a warehouse with other stolen cars. Take care Jim
