460 Newbe needs help

I am trying to fit the backbox below to the 460 but where would I seperate the original backbox? If I seperate it at 45 ext it would be to short or would I need an extra bit of pipe for my new back box? has anyone managed to do this? Total newbe trying to do up this 460 its driving me nuts :stormy: any help would be great thanks

If you are fitting this yourself then you need to get under the car and size the back box up properly. You probably would find it easier to get a Powerflow fitter to fit this box for you as it looks universal and as we all know universal fits faff all. A good fitter would be able to mount the box correctly, make any little pipe adjustments etc.

Dependant on what 460 you have, you will struggle to find many systems for the 400 series (480 seems easier) ^ Might do a system (need to phone them) ^ will make a custom build stainless system for you, but will cost more than the 460 is worth! My advise :- Stick to a stock silencer, just not worth the cost and agro, unless it's a turbo, then maybe?

if you cut the pipe at right angle you can mount almost any straight backbox onto the hangers
