850 turbo

Was a 2.0 turbo 850 made? Is it the glt? I know the t5 is turbo hence the T in the title. Does it come in a 20 valve 2.0 turbo.

isent that the low pressure turbo ones? or were they 2.5?

I think its full turbo as the performnce figures arnt much different from 2.3 same ammount of torque google volvo 850 t5 and go to wikipedia and check out specifications at the bottom of the page

The 2.0 t5 is actually faster than the 2.4 low pressure turbo, going off those details

There was an HPT 2.0 20v T-5 engine. It was the same block as the 2319cc T-5 engine with a shorter stroke, they still had the high pressure 15G turbo. I havent seen them in the UK, but some of the foreign T-5's & T-5R's were 2.0 and they are faster than the 2.4 lpt's - I believe all the Italian ones were and some other countries also had 2.0 T-5's and T-5R's.
